I recommend this product.

Really liked how sturdy these are. A lot better than the rubber stock ones. Been on for a few months now and still holding up.

A little difficult to get this lined up perfectly. The bottom screw is tough to access which isn't the products fault. They look nice and seem like they will last.

Love the look and no hood flutter.

5 stars for the product, 3 stars for the instructions. I wanted to stop the hood flutter in high winds. Seems to have done the trick and it wasn’t as hard to install as it first looked.

The Installation Instructions were OK but mostly simple pics.
Small issues:
- There was no description on what to do with the six washers that arrived with the kit??? They were not shown in the parts list. (I put them on the inside of the mounts and now just cross my fingers!)
- There was no tool list and multiple allen screws are included . . . I needed two sizes and actually three allen wrenches because in a few cases the same size wrench was needed on both sides of the screw. Anyway, I would have expected more.
- No instructions on what to do with the clip that was with the OEM latch on the hood.
(I left it on.)
The great news is that they look great and are a heck of a lot stronger now than before installed! I'd do it again.

These are sturdy latched save for one fault. The latches are made of strong aluminum, but then they went and installed weak plastic safety latches that hold the latches closed. I've had one break about 3 months after I installed the latches on the hood.

I've done research, and it seems some have no problems, others have snapped many of the plastic latches. I worry if it's safe to drive around without the plastic safety latch, will the hood pop open while driving down the road? I hope not. I can't find replacement plastic latches anywhere, including here. It seems you may need to get them directly from Rugged Ridge...

Looks good, but heavy.

They are good, but they interfere with the Smittybilt fender flares, making it very difficult to open and close the hood (the SB flares rise higher than stock)

Excellent product. Very sturdy; completely eliminates hood flutter. Installation is a bit tricky due to accessibility.
