Great product. High quality fit and finish. Easy to install (removing grill does make it easier). In my opinion, the "meatier", more robust appearance makes them look better on the Wrangler than the stock latches.

High quality and a breeze to install. As the reviews state. Remove the grill for a nearly hassle free install. After install I took it to the interstate, and low and behold, no more hood lift. Not sure if the JL's fixed this with there new latches, as this latch looks somewhat similar to the JL's factory latch, but it doesn't look like an aftermarket tacky add on. The latch looks great and adds a nice touch to the vehicle. Worth it!

Latches did not come with instructions but there are lots of videos online that show how to install.

This install was really easy. Only issue at all is getting wrenches in the tight space behind headlights. Not really the latch's problem just a hard spot. Product looks great, and completely eliminated hood flutter.

This hood latches are hard core. They are heavy duty and installation is fairly easy. I would pull the grill as this made it much easier. When we put these on my fiancé's jeep it will be even easier now that we know about pulling the grill back. They look good and there is no hood flutter now.

I purchased these to fix my hood flutter, so if that's what you're after, then this is exactly what you need. I bought the textured black since I wanted everything to be black. Installation was fairly simple, but it was difficult to reach behind the fender. That certainly isn't anything that Rugged Ridge can fix - that is a design issue with Jeep. However, Rugged Ridge does include hardware that they don't mention in their directions, so you should review everything before you start the install. All in all, this is a great product that does what it's designed to do, and does it while also looking good.

Great product,easy install . The nuts and washers are small,I actually used the driver side original nut -washer that is connected together for your fingers to grab easier for installing . No more hood fludder...
