The Quadratec video made it pretty easy. When I first started watching the video before purchase, I was a little apprehensive, but I duplicated the video step by step on my paper-covered table. I was finished in about 35 minutes.

Watched the video, ordered the cap and prepped my layout like in the video. Unlike the video, I put a squirt of grease in the spring location to help retain the springs while sizing the inserts. Walked through each lock ring in about 15 minutes. Checked it twice and inserted the lock block. Stuffed it in the cap and it worked like it should. The video was a great help and made the task easy. Like others, having one less key on the ring is great.

Great instruction on how to key. Very organized and easy to follow. Dealership was going to charge me $200 for the kit and labor to key it. Highly recommend you do it yourself!

Works well. It is nice to have the gas cap lock work with your jeep's key. This eliminates having to have another key on my key ring. The installation was easy following the instructional video.
