Got the bumper w/o the tire carrier. My son-in-law and 3 members from the local Jeep club had the old bumper off and the new one installed in 25 minutes. It really helps when you have people who know what they are doing. Everything fit perfect with no alterations on my 2016 JKU. Love the looks and the integrated hitch is sweet. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Got delivered within 2 days of purchase, thank you Quadratec! Went on fairly easy. Directions do need an update for each step as they are very vague. No problems until I put the handle assembly on and it would not lock into place. Called Smittybilt and they are sending me a replacement. Bumper looks great!

nice solid bumper, does not work well with the teraflex hd tire carrier.

I absolutely love my new bumper with tire carrier. It gives that more ‘aggressive’ look that I wanted, for my JKU. I had mine professionally installed, since I ordered it to go along with my new tires (35’s), wheels, & 4” lift. I was debating between a rear bumper tire carrier, versus a new tire carrier for the rear door; & also buying new hinges to support the weight of my new tires/wheels. After comparing prices-this bumper was in the same price range as the other pieces. I knew I wanted new front and rear bumpers in the future anyway; & this bumper had amazing reviews for stability, looks, & function. All of that is accurate. It rides SOLID! Just got my Jeep out of the custom shop yesterday; so I’ve not taken it off-road yet. But highway and interstate speeds-this bumper is solid! No rattle, no noise, no shaking. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars-the photos made it appear that the shackles were included for the d-rings. And they aren’t. Also-my mechanic agreed with all the other reviews that said the holes do not line up and he had to do his own drilling, to make everything fit.
