Very easy to set up and installs very securely with the included rivets. All you need is a rivet gun capable using 1/4" rivets. Works great.

Pretty awesome. Went in easy (if you have a winch bumper will take longer to get all the stuff out of the way of the grill than the actual install). Definitely need a 20$ harbor freight rivet puller to do the 1/4" rivets. Very nice having one key and knowing my battery is safely locked away.

Bolt JK Hood Lock. When you consider free shipping Quaddratec has the best price. The dealer wanted $163 for the Mopar lock $40 to install and $20 to key it to my ignition key. Plus the Mopar lock comes in pieces you have to rivet together. This lock is super HD and I can not see any difference in it and the much more costly Mopar lock. I didn't have a large enough rivet gun to secure the 4 1/4” rivets and didn't want to pay $$ for a rivet gun I would probably never use again. I called my local body shop and they were more than happy to help me. They even removed the plastic pins. They didn't even charge me though I offered. The total job literally took 3 minutes to install. Another thing, if you have an extra non electronic key made which I keep on my main keychain in case I lock my fob key in the jeep it will work once you initially code the lock cylinder.

Good install, wish a couple of extra rivets would have been included as I messed one up and had to buy more. Unit worked as advertised

I wish I had noticed the requirement for the rivet gun to install this, but that's my mistake. I ended up using self-tapping sheet metal screws to install it instead, but recommend using the rivet gun instead if you have one handy.
