I installed these on Saturday and they are a very nice addition to my Jeep. A couple of hints to make it easier. Take off the grill, it gives you more room to get a wrench or in my case a ratchet. After dropping the washers several times I got out my glue gun and glued them to the socket with the washer inside the socket. Once the nut caught the washer easily came off the socket. Overall these are nice, and time will tell how long the finish on them lasts.
Have a 2013 Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary and these fit perfectly. Most difficult part was removing the drivers fender latch on the originals (it was severely rusted on - actually broke the original latch so much torque was required) and holding the wash and nylock nut for the new latch. I removed the grill (I dont think you would have to) and which helped a lot (especially as I dropped the nylock nut multiple times and had to retrieve it from behind the headlight bezel) especially because I initially forgot to put on the provided washers on both of the new fender mounts and had to remove and replace them a second time. One time is after removing the original fender latch, insert a long rod (I used a long hex wrench) through the bolt hole far enough you can reach the end on the top and place both the washer and nut over the rod. You then slide the washer and nut down the rod with a finger on each side of the rod and press them on the fender with you fingers. Carefully remove the rod and then start the screw in the fender latch (dont forget to have the new fend latch within reach - like I did) with the fingers on the other hand. I tightened the fender latch at this time. When installing the hood latch portion, dont tighten until you check the hood and fender latch alignment. Having the grill off makes this easier as you can have the hood mostly down while positioning and tightening the hood latch
Happy with these so far, removing & installing the nut for the lower portion of the latch was a giant pain in the rear. I'll say this right now, consider taking your front grill off & headlights out before proceeding with the install, this made the job much easier for me.
Great product, very well made. Awesome upgrade to the OEM latches. The look alone is worth this easy upgrade.
