Reviews for Go Rhino D14506T Dominator D1 Side Steps for 18-20 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Quality & Durability
Looked nice
Highly suggested that you read all other reviews and just use the installation instructions only to sort and check all your parts. I installed these on my 2023 Wrangler 4xe and it’s a good fit but please note the following: you really must mount the three brackets loosely to the slider step before you assemble everything to your vehicle. I had to switch brackets M and L on one side because the instructions didn’t match the M8 hole positions and it was A PAIN to attach the bracket to the nut plates that keep falling back and then attach the slider step. Seriously, save yourself two hours and attach those three brackets loosely to the step FIRST. The bracket labeled M is the front one, the bracket labeled L is the back one on my 2023 4xe (see pictures). Make sure to put a black washer on each side of the body pinch mold. From front to back it’s A, C C, B, D.
Tighten the three M8 hex bolts (H), then tighten all 6 of the black hex bolts, slide the step into the spot where you want it, push the entire slider step up and hold this in place while you tighten the six socket head screw caps (E).
Durability and step space is excellent for reaching items on the roof rack. Drop height of the step is a nice touch for short people.
threads on the mounts prior to assembly. Attach mounts loosely to steps then install on Jeep. I had the NFab steps before and they looked good but they weren’t comfortable for me getting in and out of the Jeep. These look super cool!
Look great and much needed for my kids to get in
Larger step and little bit more of a drop to the step.
