Protect your sway bar and steering box of your Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT with the Quadratec Aluminum Front Sway Bar Skid Plate. Our high quality skids are made from stamped 5052 aluminum, providing lightweight and strong underbody protection. All Quadratec Modular Skid Plates are a simple no drill installation that’s easy to install with the included hardware and brackets. The 6mm thick aluminum panels are the next evolution in under body protection providing superior strength and flexibility while minimizing weight. Why do we use aluminum for our skid plates? Aluminum’s density is about 1/3 that of steel and the advantage of the increased material thickness to offset strength actually makes aluminum more dent resistant over steel skid plates of the same weight. Aluminum is extremely corrosion resistant and will not rust even if the surface coating becomes gouged or scratched. Aluminum is the true winner over steel in cost, strength and durability. Each panel is laser cut and press formed for a precision fit.

Quadratec Aluminum Modular Front Sway Bar Skid Plate Reviews
Looks great with the QRC full width bumper. My only request would be for mounting bolts to come in black, but that’s pure cosmetic. This skid plate is just what I was looking for.
The replacement of my OEM bumper left me with no skid plates, so I needed some protection and stumbled upon this product. This skid plate is so light and almost looks like the OEM. Install took me about 20 minutes. This is something I would highly recommend and I am very happy with it.
GREAT PRODUCT!
Easy, straightforward install. Looks great. Light weight - I’m a big advocate of aluminum for components like this. Love it. By way of background, I replaced the original bumper on my ‘23 Rubicon with the Mopar stubby bumper. It sits a bit further out to accommodate a winch. The original silly plastic splash guard didn’t go back on. This part looks better and provides some real protection for the sway bar and steering components.
