Looks great with the QRC full width bumper. My only request would be for mounting bolts to come in black, but that’s pure cosmetic. This skid plate is just what I was looking for.

The replacement of my OEM bumper left me with no skid plates, so I needed some protection and stumbled upon this product. This skid plate is so light and almost looks like the OEM. Install took me about 20 minutes. This is something I would highly recommend and I am very happy with it.

Easy, straightforward install. Looks great. Light weight - I’m a big advocate of aluminum for components like this. Love it. By way of background, I replaced the original bumper on my ‘23 Rubicon with the Mopar stubby bumper. It sits a bit further out to accommodate a winch. The original silly plastic splash guard didn’t go back on. This part looks better and provides some real protection for the sway bar and steering components.

Fit well and easy to install

This Skid Plate is a must if you have a Rubicon and buy an aftermarket bumper. Have to protect the Sway Bar disconnect motor. I modified mine to fit the Carnivore Stubby Front bumper and just painted it with truck bed coating. Looks great and super thick all aluminum which is lightweight and strong! Direct Fitment and installation is a breeze! Do yourself a favor and protect your good before you break something out on the trails!

Great product. I wanted to add this skid to the front of the Jeep after purchasing the rear muffler skid and seeing how well it was made. I installed this one on my wife’s Jeep running Quadratec’s QRC bumper. With most bumpers this would be a direct bolt on with no modifications needed. The QRC bumper has a recessed winch mount with a strong winch support bracket that comes down fairly deep. To get proper clearance I had to trim about 13/16” off of the top lip of the skid plate. This allowed proper clearance between the skid plate and winch support bracket. Installation time was about 45 minutes. This would have been a lot shorter if I hadn’t had to measure, mark, tape, trim and smooth the skid plate before mounting. This was easily accomplished using a rotary cut off wheel and a hand file. My guess is that install time would be about 15 minutes without any modifications. I am very pleased with the look and would take the extra minutes to do this again. I expect it will perform just as well as the rear. Ordering a second skid for my Gladiator now that my wife’s install is complete. Thanks again Quadratec for great products.

Easy to swap on and off and lightweight. Rattle can paint mine.

I don't have to remove the bumper and its light weight.
