Fab Fours Transmission and Oil Pan Skid Plate Reviews
Installed this skid plate on my son's 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Skid plate arrived undamaged wrapped in thick shipping blanket and large cardboard box. Shipping took about 15 days. Skid plate and 2 brackets are powder coated black. Instructions are limited and could be better. Total install time was an hour with 2 guys. You will need to purchase an extra 4.5" bolt for 4th hole on rear end of plate. Skid plate is beefy (50lbs) protects the oil pan and transmission well. Everything fit together good and was a slick install.
Installation instructions are poor. Most importantly, they longer front support mounts to the driver side, shorter on the passenger side.
If you are installing this in conjunction with a factory transfer skid, remove the transfer skid and cut the front lips off so the assemblies sit flush to each other.
