This bracket is compatible with both factory and aftermarket tire carriers, and it was specifically designed to not interfere with the OEM backup camera. ARB will keep your Jeep street legal, by relocating your license plate to the middle of your spare tire.

I think this is a good deal. The instructions for wiring didn't match my 2021 JL with LED lights. I connected it to the white wire with bule stripe that goes to the stock license plate light right above the rear driver-side bumper. Not fun but works fine...

One small issue is that you can't remove the plate bracket with the lug wrench, have to use an end wrench. Nicely made kit though.

Questions

Does the license plate light have an OEM compatible connector for plug & play type installation? Or will this require splicing the wires into the OEM wiring?
This will have quick release connection and a splice pigtail. Thank you for the question.
