LoD Offroad Spare Tire License Plate Relocation Kit Reviews
Due to the welds on the back of the bracket if you tighten your spare on too much the mounting bolts bow in and make it extremely difficult to mount. Out of the box also had one of these bolts already leaning inward so had to use some percussive maintenance to get it back in proper place.
Some other oddities not seen in the listing is that the spacer from the tire to bracket is just a plain PVC pipe. Was able to hit it with some paint to not be too obvious, but the overall fit and finish to the price just feels like a mismatch.
It is nice that it is secure versus other options on the market that just pull off, but some refinement to the plate that goes behind the wheel would be nice like reinforcement to not bow and matching the thread/width to be that of the Jeeps lug nuts. (Hardware is 1/2" and the lugs are 14mm)
