Absolutely love the looks and versatility. Installation wasn't bad, we used Best tops video and it was pretty clear. One of the rubber grommets pops out kind of easy and the(exposed) metal in the quarter window on the driver side rubbed some paint off otherwise this review would have been 5 stars.

Awesome features! I like the look of the fast-back top, but most of them are frameless so you can't retract them and go topless without taking the whole top off. On this one, you can fold back the sun-rider, pull the windows out and have a bikini mode, or you can retract the whole thing like an OEM soft top.

This top is a little louder than the hard top, but it's mostly road noise, not buffeting or wind. You can easily have a conversation or hear the radio.

As far as installation, there's quite a bit of assembly work for the bows and stuff, but the instructions have lots of pictures and arrows, so while there are a lot of steps, it's not that hard to put together. I can see how it would be easy to put stuff together backward, since for a good portion of the assembly the top is upside down on the floor, so it's definitely a situation where you want to look at the picture and make sure that you have everything oriented correctly. Getting it all assembled and installed took about 4 hours with no surprises or problems. A second set of hands would be helpful but not necessary and you don't need anything but simple hand tools.

Because of the glide mechanism, you can't roll up the windows into a small tube like you can with zipper windows, but I'll consider this a small price to pay if it holds up and eliminates me having struggle with old worn out zippers in a few years.

The actual top is great. However, the instruction packet was full of errors , poor descriptions, parts missing or miss labeled, even watch a video or two to help figure things out (didn't help much) -- in short, assembly took much more time and lots of frustration than it should have.

Easy to remove and put back on, but I've had to remove all my carpet be ause it leaks bad. I've been looki g at going back to a full frame top

Straps started to dry rot after a few years.

I say I would recommend this product with a few caveats. First the good, super easy to put on and take off, less noise than some other tops, the look is a big crowd pleaser, the added pockets in the head area are actually really useful. The biggest issues I have found so far are 1.) The top of the back window pulls out of the "glide rails". At the top left and right corner of my back windows, there is a place where you can clearly see that it is no longer sealed up. This would not happen with a zipper sealed top, but with this new design, it happens. 2.) The bottom corners of the back window have an opening on both ends about 1.5 inches wide. This allows for rain to enter the back of your Jeep. 3.) When it rains, water tends to spill into the cab of the Jeep after you shut the door. I have not noticed this on my passenger side, but then again I never ride on the passenger side. Once again, I think this is a fairly good top, with its positives and negatives, but I think If I had to do it again I might have purchased a different one.

There is no way to take the windows with you. They can't be rolled and they are too large for any storage bag, including the window storage bag from Bestop. This is a significant drawback that Bestop should be disclosing in the product description.

Having issues. Top looks great but many issues. Leaking by rear doors due to roof not securing to side windows..too much space there and no Velcro. The glide rails for all 3 windows pull out of the channel but I reached out to Bestop who says they have a fix for that..we'll see. Then where the side windows meet the rear window at the bottom have exposed space that is allowing water into the tailgate. Not very happy at the moment and hope Bestop has a fix for all of this otherwise I think the top needs to go back. Shame I sold my Supertop NX the same day I installed this as that was perfect. If things get better then my rating will be revised.

Purchased in 2017, still having issues with the back not stretching out enough to close properly. Already replaced the rubber seal once and will need to do it again because it keeps falling off.
