Reviews for Bestop 54923-35 Trektop NX Glide Soft Top in Black Diamond for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 Door
Awesome Soft Top. Easy Installation. Read the manual. Purchased for the wifes JK for the summer months. Easy removal and stores away on top of our hard top lift. Would recommend to anyone with a 4 door Wrangler JK
Sides do not fit correctly
When on highway they blow out and become sails.
Disappointed
The screws as well are poorly appointed for the job
First time install took a little longer than I thought it would. But overall quality is very high. Had severe storms last night and my Jeep stay dry on the inside for the first time in 3 years. Would highly recommend this product. Will buy again.
Versatility
This is a great soft top. Everything included to convert from a hard top. The installation was fairly easy. The video from the Bestop website has the best information and step by step assembly instructions.
Super
The best decision for a Top. My Jeep so far is completely dried inside. No more leaks so far...
I don't take the time to write reviews but because this top is so good I am. Easiest and best Jeep top available. Period.
Solid investment for a "multi-purpose" soft top! The Jeep I bought had a Hardtop on it...it was quickly removed! I like the feature to open the 1) driver's area, 2) driver's area & passenger's area, or 3) complete drop top! Installation took about 2 1/2 hours with 2 people (who are mechanical). I've been running this now for 4 months, and everything has stayed bone dry. The fast back gives the jeep a unique look, versus the boxy standard stock soft top.
Installed it this weekend, took a little over the suggested 4 hours but that was completely by myself, if you had a 2nd person you could get it done in about half the time, and I took my time and followed the paper instructions and the video at the same time. I did have the same issue with the 2nd screw for the strap, but I kept changing the angle of the screw and was able to get them in with no issue. Also, I did not use a power drill for anything as i know i would have stripped or snapped half of those screws. Seem to be having the same issue with the rear window and the tailgate bar, but i am assuming once it stretches out a bit it will fit as designed. Will update after a few months of use.
