Absolutely PERFECT! I have been searching for a LONG time for the right step bars for my... yes LJ... these say they are only made for the standard length TJ... but after a few conversations, some measuring, and a roll of the dice... They are INSTALLED on my 2006 LJ! And I LOVE them! Just one note... I suggest after you drill the 5/16 holes, pre-tap all of them with a 3/8 x 16 tap, not completely, just enough to get the screws started... and BE careful... I broke one off getting too ambitious.

Plan on 2-3 hours and abandon the idea of the self-tapping bolts. Chinese steel bolts are no match for American steel Jeep frame. Before starting job, go purchase 16 - 3.5" long bolts with nuts and washers for 5/16" holes and a long enough drill bit; and, don't waste the hour trying to get the self-tapping bolts to thread. Would have given it 5 stars except for dealing with self-tapping bolts. Looks great once installed.
