Reviews for Quadratec Automatic Billet Aluminum Mirror Movers for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
These went on super easy, they look just like stock. It's nice to take the doors off without having to screw with the mirrors.
The only real downside I do see is my driver side at idle will get a slight vibration, but other than that it goes away once you start moving.
No bolting on different mirrors and is in factory position with the doors off.
Love these but please double check your order after placing. After storing my Jeep year and make, the wiring harness selected was the wrong year and the email confirmation was the only way to check. Quadratec make it right, but a little bit annoying.
They make take it the doors off more “legal” and look much better than the cheap slip in type
You don't have to move the mirrors every time you take off or put on the doors
I wont have to change them out.
Just pull the doors off and no worries about the mirrors
Looks
Always Leary that parts will do what they say, but in this case the best upgrade to the jeep ever! These mirrors are better looking than stock and were a breeze to install! I would recommend these to anyone looking to take the doors off and not screw with the mirrors. Their view on both sides is same as OEM and no noise at all!
Looks like good quality
It took exactly 1 year to the day for these to arrive after ordering them, but they are significantly better than any mirror I have ever owned. The quality is top notch & it requires no alterations before installation, just 4 screws and you're done. I love how it prevents my doors from swinging open uncontrollably. I had another type of replacement mirror that was less expensive, but half the mirror was hidden by the dash. These come up right against the window. I'd say it's 100% more functional than anything else and they look good. The nicely tapered edges and attention to detail is hard to see on the website.
On a '12 JKU. Nice to have mirrors when doors are off. These are in original location and visibility is like with stock mirrors. YouTube video is straight forward on how to install. I have two things to point out. If you have removed your carpet like I have for sand dune purposes you'll need to tuck the wires under the kick panel. The lower part of the dash. Also when using the allen key to hold the mirror open to remove the doors I think it will scratch or mare the mirror over time. I will be putting some rubber shrink tubing on the allen key to prevent this. Other than that these are best on the market.
