Reviews for Quadratec Maximum Duty 3.5" Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit for 97-06 Wrangler TJ
Good value. Seemed to raise jeep more than 3.5 ". I needed to add an adjustable track bar and alignment to reduce death wobble.
Overall I love the lift.
Taller than 3.5".
Bought kit to replace some older lower control arms.
Rides a little bit stiffer now but seems to handle ok.
Will see how it works out on the trails this weekend.
Pretty irritating this did not come with new bump stops given how the factory ones right away that should have been included.
Other than that this kit peers to be fairly well built the directions are pretty good not perfect but better than IKEA. I would recommend this kit, plus a good set of new bump stops, to any of my friends so long as they don’t ask me to help install it without any beer.
The lift kit over all was easy to install and seems to be holding up pretty good so far, it’s been about 3 months and I take it out off road every couple days. However I did notice the control arms that came with the kit appear to be to short giving me a funky caster angle, luckily I didn’t put on the bump stop extensions or else they would be catching on the insides of the front springs. The rears appear to be the right length. Also the front sway bar links where way to long after a couple days of just on road driving they had scraped my frame down to bare metal. Again not a huge deal I was able to make some other end links that I had laying around work so no issues there anymore. Also the rear links seem to be about a inch to long but they aren’t causing any issues so I’m not worried about it. All around it’s a pretty decent lift as far as quality goes but I did expect things to fit better then they did.
So far good, one issue I've had is the steps into putting this on and together are good but there was a lot more hardware included which made things a little confusing. I've been left with a few bolts and spacers not sure what they are for as the installation instructions don't mention a thing about them.
All in all the lift itself is a sturdy kit however when mine arrived in the mail the first time, I noticed that it only came with three springs and three control arms. When I called quadratec to tell them that I had parts missing the customer service was very bad. The agent I spoke with had no apologeticness and insisted that I should’ve notified them earlier if parts were missing. Finally, when I got my second kit sent out it was still missing a few spacers. The warehouse and customer service staff have come off as very unprofessional and have left a very bad taste in my mouth and they are they reason for the loss of stars.
Kit showed up missing a control arm
