It claims to add 10hp maybe, maybe not can't tell but when you hit that throttle the sound it makes is worth every penny. Makes the jeep fun to drive on the street. Install pretty easy but I would watch a video first for tips. Directions are good but not very detailed.

nice replacement for the stock intake. installation went pretty smooth. the heat shield cover didn't seem to fit all that perfectly, but it will work well.

Just finished installing the K&N 77 filter, I give it a 4 instead of a 5 because of two main installation issues. First being the instructions are very unclear what bolts and screws to use where, second the oxygen sensor replacement in the K&N filter WOULD NOT FIT. I've installed other filters and it slipped in and locked no problem. I spent about an hour trying to make this fit, finally had to drill the oxygen sensor receptacle out, place sensor in very tight and electrical taped in place for added assurance. (you cant see the tape) it would never lock in. filter system seems good quality but these two issues, not cool.

Works as advertised. Bought it along with the magnaflow 15160 axle back exhaust. Great combo, definitely feel and hear the difference!

Nice improvement in sound of the jeep. A little throatier without being obnoxious. Only a very slight difference in performance though.

Way too loud.
It increased intake noisy to an unacceptable level.
Ran one day and reinstalled original air filter.
