Your Jeep's engine needs air to run, but that doesn't mean is has to come through the factory air intake system. You can improve your engine's power with a performance air intake kit, or you can ensure your engine is being fed clean air with a snorkel kit. No matter which type of system you choose, it's sure to offer many benefits over the restrictive stock intake plumbing.
Most kits include a new air intake tube that replaces the factory restrictive plumbing. You'll also get a higher flowing performance air filter that will simply allow much more air into your engine than the original paper panel filter. And finally most kits also include a heat shield to help deflect the hot under hood air and direct cool outside air to the filter.
