Reviews for Magnaflow 15160 Street Series Axle Back Exhaust System for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK in Black
Moved to Cali from PA and the exhaust came in less than a day loved that. I love to install parts myself but I’m so bad at it and taking off OEM flat out sucked. I also had a hard Time fitting the new exhaust over the inlet but I assume it’s me not the part. I bought purely for look and love it. Looks bad ass. Sound is nice and mild and gives a nice growl at lower rpms. Didn’t want anything too loud so this was a perfect choice. My advice when installing is make sure you have a buddy to help, really hard as a one man job.
Easy 10 min fit sounds great
Fun to install, looks great and sounds great on my Wrangler.
Super easy to install, and sounds great!
Really love the sound. Not too overbearing but just the right pitch and tone. Looks great as it's high and tight (but not too tight) against the bumper and not sitting very low.
Works Great...Combined The Exhaust With A K&N CAI And Love The Sound, Plus The Pep!!!
Exactly what I was looking for ! "Louder but not too loud". Just a little bit more loud than stock (no noise at all with the stock...) Finally the real V6 noise is back with the Magnaflow 15160 ! The sound of it is less than other stock car and on the highway, mud tires are mire present than exhaust Definitively the thing to have if you don't want to wake all the neighborhood at 2 AM, when leaving or returning home. And the look of it ! So great. Excellent packaging and construction. Thanks to Bailey for there precious advices on that exhaust.
Easy to install and looks a ton better than the rusty ugly grey box of an exhaust that is there stock. (use WD40 and a grommet removal tool on the rubber grommets, those took me a trip to the autoparts store, but once they were off it took less than 10 minutes to complete)
The sound is rich, but not obnoxious. I'm very pleased with the aesthetic and the function of this exhaust.
Great product. As in other reviews, the muffler came in packaging that you would have to drop from an airplane to damage. It took me about an hour to install and thanks to a you tube video I was prepared for the tack weld that holds the clamp in place. I used silicone grease to get it off the hangers. I was going for the look and got a great mellow sounding muffler. If your looking for an upgrade this is the easiest and very well built product. Worth the money!!!!
Magnaflow got it right... this exhaust is throaty but not obnoxious. If you're looking to be heard blocks away, this is not for you. Good rumble on start up and when you get on it but otherwise you will only notice a bit of drone at cruising speed. I had my local tire shop install for $69 but I could've easily done myself if I wanted to wait.
This exhaust delivers on looks and sound- worth the price.
