This a great kit and great value- the sound quality was worth the bloody hands. Space is very tight under the drivers side- you definitely need to remove the emergency brake (not mentioned in instructions) and relay brackets. Also- the little black screws are not just plugs- they are intended to thread into a springclip on new speakers to provife support to speaker. Aligning this hole FIRST, and installing screw will save possible rework.

These are going to be a pain to swap in, but you are going to be so happy when you get it done. If you have small hands, it will be easier. Sound quality is good, and when paired with 2 rear speakers you can actually enjoy music in the jeep!

They sound great! Install was a little difficult. Driver side was definitely more difficult due to the parking break. Took me a little over an hour.

These are fantastic, although a pain to install. They sound great. I've had them in since 2012 and they still sound great. They've been caught in the rain more than once.

I echo the last review. This is a VERY INGENIOUS and complete kit. Removing the parking brake foot lever is a must! I also had a couple of other things to remove (1988 Wrangler). This was still not the easiest job, but not too terrible. My Jeep wiring, of coarse, had been previously messed with by a prior owner. So the included extra wires in the kit were helpful. The sound quality is greatly improved with the incorporation of a tweeter and what appears to be a highly moisture resistant speaker. I definitely recommend this kit!

These were a pain to install! If you have big hands, forget about it, have a friend help or a shop install. We have a 1993 wrangler YJ. If attempting yourself, it's best to remove the parking brake bracket on the drivers side for ease of installation. When installed, they sound fantastic! Definitely recommend these.

The Only Way To Replace 1994 YJ Dash Speakers!!! I installed this kit in the parking lot at work on my lunch break. Took a little over an hour, but the boss is a Jeep guy. So, no worries. I was fortunate in that my factory wiring had never been cut. Great engineering. Well thought-out kit. Sounds great to boot. If you think you must have a sound bar for good sound & to be able to hear the radio at highway speeds, save a little $ & try these first.
