Reviews for Quadratec Flashlight Holder for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT
It fit in my 2021 2 Door 80th ... must have a seat upgrade
I gave this product 4 stars and not 5 because the way the brackets need to be screwed on is very difficult. So I left off the screws because the brackets snap on the the seat slide and they aren't going anywhere. Other than that I am impressed with the quality of the brackets and the flashlight.
The holder is nice, the flashlight is a bit cheap, but fits the holder well.
I bought the flashlight holder and the flashlight together and then realized it was for a 4-door. I tried installing it anyways and it works on the 2-door. The holder seems durable and it doesn't get in the way of the seat sliding forward of my 2-door Sport Wrangler.
The flashlight came with a Jack Sparrow Compass (it doesn't point north). So I am busy trying to figure out what it is that my heart desires. Evidently it desires to just wander. I like the variable focus and it seems pretty bright.
Good for mag lights but not adjustable for the smaller more high powered C cell LED devices. At least for me and the multiple lights I have.
Had mine for 2 years for my JL i loved it but after a while they will snap off and break so i guess its great if u wish to look at it but not to use often. the clamps that connect to the chair rail system is what snapped . maybe if they had metal this item would be perfect
Works well, but fragile, I just bought one about 6 months ago, hardly used and one clamp already broke
I ordered these at full price and two days after receiving them, they went on sale for $9. I sent it back and ordered a set for the $9. An ultimate credit of $30+ (Shipping and taxes). One of the two pieces was broken on the new set. I reported it and Quadratec sent me a new set and a call tag for the broken set.
I just used the flashlight this weekend, the first time since receiving the latest set of flashlight holders and by the second time I put the flashlight back into the holder, they broke again. The good news is that it just the outermost portion of the gripping tab that broke and the holder still hold the flashlight secure. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse.
Otherwise, a great product. I just think they need to make it out of less brittle plastic.
It's a great idea and fits well. Unfortunately I broke the front bracket after only a couple of uses. I'm going to buy another set and see if it does any better. If it wasn't so handy I wouldn't go through this trouble.
Ordered mine with the Quadratec flashlight to ensure no compatibility issues. The brackets seem okay so far. Time will tell if durability is an issue, as reflected in other reviews. The flashlight is cheaper than a dime store flashlight. First clue is the compass on the end (battery cap) . Initially I thought that's a nice touch, until I immediately realized that it doesn't work at all. Not a good first impression. Then when trying out the flashlight, again very cheap illumination, with a cheap "zoom" rotating bezel. Returning the flashlight to just use my own. So far keeping the brackets to see how they hold up.
Feels kinda cheap. Other than that it works fine.
