Reviews for Oracle Lighting 7" High Powered LED Headlight Pair
Great lamp, but constantly get high beams from others drivers flickering back at me. Received a warning from a police officer. I'm now having to change them.
Straight forward install, connectors could be better quality. Added a cable tie to ensure they stay connected, use a fuse tap to wire halos as DRL's. Look good and much better then the factory headlights. The factory retainer rings do not hold these tightly, use some electrical tape in the buckets to solve this. So they got 3 stars instead of 4.
Can only turn on or change to another color if physically in the Jeep or within a few feet with the App. If I’m more than 5 feet away, it won’t work
Install was easy. Lights work well. The app is pretty bad though. It works but it’s buggy and unfortunately you need the app to use the halos which I don’t like. The regular headlights work great though and are plug and play.
A solid three due to the adaptor harness fitment issues. The plastic tab that plugs into your OEM headlight plug is too long. It required some minor trimming to get allow the factory harness to lock on to it. Headlights are also not overly secure with the trim ring, I had to use some 3M double sided tape to stop them from rattling.
Overall the headlights are an amazing upgrade to the stock lights even though I had to modify the harness.
Lights work good but they sent the wrong color halo. Didn’t know until new ones were already hooked up.
Don’t last. Have had to replace multiple times.
Just prior to the 2-year warranty running out the seal on one unit failed and after sending a picture of the fogged-up lens I was provided a replacement. Now at nearly 3 years in the other unit's low beam has failed. I went to LEDs for the light improvement and longevity, but only got the improved lighting. Very disappointed.
Do not buy this set unless you want to mess with your phone to run the halos every time you start the vehicle. very Disappointed
Just got these and installed them. First comment, there's nothing that says which is left and which is right (or is really hard to find). I assume that matters. I switched back and forth trying to figure that out.
Second, once I got them installed, the Halo didn't work (I will have to go in to play with the wiring to figure out from other people's comments how to make this work).
Third, there was a very strange pattern in the light that it lamp was putting out. Totally not full coverage. It looks like they're trying to project the shape of the Jeep grill. Not a fan.
But they are a lot brighter than the originals...
