Reviews for Oracle Lighting 7" High Powered LED Headlight Pair
These headlights are great! I chose the dark lenses as they accent my jeep. They both took twenty minutes to install. They really light up the road at night and that is why I purchased them. I would recommend these for anyone looking for more light after dark.
These lights were very easy to install and have made driving at night much easier with their sharp white light.
Plenty of light and easy to install
Lighting is great!
super easy to install. no flicker or flashing and way better than stock.
These headlights look so nice on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler sport. It took a little time to figure out how to hook up the halo but so worth it because now I can see way better at night and my Jeep looks amazing!
Purchased these originally four years ago, but recently had one of the lights begin to short out and cut-off intermittently. I wasn't thrilled with the light pattern of the originals, and was hesitant to reorder, but wanted to retain the Colorshift 2.0 system I had.
Ordered these as replacements and wow! Totally different (better) light pattern. The hot spot in the middle is gone and these have a much wider spread of useful light. No canbus module is included as mentioned in other reviews.
These are substantially brighter than stock, it was relatively easy to install, and look great. They fit perfectly on my 05 TJ, and plugged right in.
These Oracle Halo headlights I just installed on my 2012 Wrangler Rubicon are really nice, I read the others reviews and quite frankly I'm not sure what they are talking about. I'm an engineer, these were simple to install, you just take your time and do a nice thorough and neat job wiring and you will never have any issue. I like to solder and shrink wrap where possible, but the tight spaces on this job did require some crimp connectors, (word of advice) invest in some quality ratcheting crimp connector pliers they do a much more permanent job. As for the flicker, I too noticed that the so called "anti-flicker" device was not included with the headlights. It even said on the box that this device was included. So, I called Oracle, the lady I spoke with said, "you don't need that anymore, the anti-flicker is built into the light"...makes sense, that's where it should be in my opinion. At the same time I installed the lights I installed the Oracle LED driving lights, same comment as above, take your time, do a good job wiring.
As for power for the LED Halo on the headlights, there is a nice video on YouTube which shows you where you can use a fuse tap to pickup power off your accessories in the fuse box. Overall, I'm happy with these lights, they are much better than the factory candles in a box. My advice, ignore the other reviews, they work fine on my Dozer Yellow JK Rubi...
So, I love the look of these lights. However, the installation was NOT "plug and play". The simple install option is ONLY for the lights w/o the halos. FYI- if you are going to buy any of the halo lights you will not have complete install instructions! It was difficult for someone w/o any wiring experience. They come with T taps and wire connectors that have ZERO explanation. It took 2 people about half an afternoon and multiple you tube videos and google searches to complete the task. I also had to buy new wire connectors and a new turn signal lightbulb and side parking light due to ruining them in the process of the install. Overall I was pretty unhappy with the LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTION!
