Manual Transmission: The Rough Country Straight Lower Gear Selector is specifically for use with the AX-5 and AX-15 transmissions only. It is not compatible with any other transmission models.
Bolt-On Installation: Unlike common weld-on options, the Rough Country Straight Lower Gear Selector easily mounts to the Jeep without cutting, drilling, or other modifications.
Body Lifts & Transfer Case Drops: The Rough Country Straight Lower Gear Selector is designed for use with up to 2in of body lift or up to 1.5in transfer case drop.

Rough Country Straight Lower Gear Selector Reviews
Returning product. Did not fit my transmission. Different configuration. My Jeep is a 2000 model TJ with original transmission. Not sure where to go from here.
Needs a little bend rearward and would be 5 stars! Luckily I own a repair shop and have a press at my disposal. We bent the upper part that connects to the shifter toward the rear of the jeep a little and it works perfectly. 98 Jeep Wrangler SE 5 speed 2.5.
Does not work with NV 3550 transmission that I have in my 2001 TJ
