Pypes Performance Exhaust High Ground Clearance Exhaust with Street Pro Muffler Reviews
The Jeep exhaust is definately more noticeable. Its deeper (for a v-6, pretty good). The quality seems good. Easy install. I did mine right on the ground. There's a little drone but with the window open or radio on, it's almost undetected. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants more sound and to get rid of that huge can on the back of your Jeep!
Installed Pypes High Clearance one week ago. The results are in. Let's start with the installation time. The only step that was "time consuming" was the trimming of exhaust due to the fact that I own the 2-door JL Rubi, was around one hour-ish, with the help of one other person. Sound is pretty tamed to be honest. To me, the sound is like putting slip-on exhaust on a Harley Davidson, sounds a little louder, but it's not a full system exhaust with dyno tune where it wakes up the entire block. The cost is pretty decent since it's just a cat-back. I'm very pleased with the exhaust, and I occasionally get compliments on the sound it produces. I purchased this exhaust due to good reviews elsewhere, my fellow Jeepers, and I didn't want to crush my stock exhaust on any rocks that I'll be climbing at Rausch or AOAA. Quadratec was spot on, and delivery was in a timely manner. Just buy it, and stop looking.
