Off-Road Traction: Mickey Thompson designed their Baja Pro X tire specifically for off-road racing. They use a specially formatted sticky tire compound for optimum grip on hard surfaces. The Dual Decoupling Grooves™ provide flexibility which increases traction on irregular terrain. For additional purchase, the Baja Pro X also features Mickey Thompson’s Tread Biter™ cleats.
Sidewall Design: For improved grip in mud, sand, and loose ground, Mickey Thompson uses their patented SideBiter® shoulder lugs. These massive scalloped lugs extend down the sidewall for ultimate grip, no matter the conditions.
Customizable: If your terrain requires a specialized tire, then the Baja Pro X can be modified to fit your needs. The tread elements that are designed to be cut off can be easily identified by their serrated finish.
Heavy-Duty Construction: By using a bias ply design, Mickey Thompson adds ultimate puncture resistance and strength to this tire. For durability, they also use their Pro-Tech Construction™.
Symmetrical Tread Pattern: The symmetrical tread pattern of the Baja Pro X is optimized for both traction and cleaning. Mud scoops keep the tread from getting clogged, so you will not lose grip.
Off-Road Use Only: The Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X is not DOT approved, and cannot be run on the street.
