Made from 3/16" plate steel to be sturdy and handle the job. Matte black powder coat finish keeps the steel protected from corrosion and looks nice in the process. Installation hardware is included, drilling the factory hinge covers is necessary for installation.

this is a very easy and simple install. I could nit pick it to death, but ultimately it went on easy enough, it has not fallen off and for the price point it beats out other products in this category for being a no frills jack mount.
Be sure to check the knob from time to time as it will loosen over time.

Does what it says. Bought this a year ago, it holds my jack solid and keeps it in place. Did need to replace the wingnut and bolt due to it falling off at some point on these trail.

It's not very strong and it also locate the Jack too far out 1st day I opened my tailgate I cracked my tail light. Would not recommend.

How does this mount to the tailgate exactly, photos would help? What does it look like?
This mounts through the inner hinge covers on the tailgate, and uses the hinges underneath for support. You will be required to drill your hinge covers for installation. The instructions are now posted if you would like to view them.
