Reviews for Lange Originals MJL-800 Coyote Mirror Pair for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Very easy to install. A bit wobbly at times.
I do not like the convex view; will get a different type. If you are ok with that, it’s a good product.

1. Both times I had this shipped to me the way they packaged it was horrible. And parts were all over the box. The first time i was missing key components and could not make it work. Quadratec was very kind and replaced it immediately. The second time it shipped it was packed the same way put the box was inside of a bigger box so not lost peices. However I was missing the paint protection film. But I had an extra screen protector for my phone so I just cut It to size and made my own.
2. The shaft and block are aluminium but mirror is plastic. They still seem to work but for $125 I thought they would be nice seeing as you can buy 2 door hinge mounted mirros for less and be all metal.
These mirrors work great, the "fish eye" effect these have really cover your blind spots. I am only giving them 3 stars because of two things.. one the bolt they supply to install the bracket is already corroding after only a few months of use, and I had to ream out the holes were the mirrors insert into the mount. I know the directions said it was going to be a tight fit but it was way to tight in my opinion. The supplied nut to keep the mirrors in place is more than enough to keep them from moving around.
They work ok. I had to mod them to prevent them from moving
Too convex. Installation was easy and they look nice, but the mirrors are convex. The amount of curvature in the mirrors prevents any kind of depth perception.
The idea was good but for $125 the mirrors were poor quality, you could not use them to switch lanes. Made cars behind you look like they were far away. The twist knobs would not hold the passenger side in place. They do work when upper fabric doors are use, can not see passenger mirror at all.
The world's softest, flimsiest plastic.
I knew going in that the clamp and ball would be plastic, but I was hoping that for the price they would at least be GOOD quality plastic. I was wrong. Plastic so soft you can almost dig your fingernail into it.
I was on the final step, aiming and tightening up the mirrors. One of the screws on the passenger mirror started chewing into the plastic (the mirror was still wobbley-loose as heck) and I felt absolutely 0 resistance. Processing a return now. And I'm mirrorless.
I photographed the workmanship of what I received before installation. I had to chip out residual paint and metal in one of the holes and not all of the parts were completely painted. I used a black marker to hide what was most obvious against my black jeep.
As a fellow business owner, I would be embarrassed to charge what Lance charged for the slipshod manufacturing evident on what I received. I have pictures. Could I make it work, yes. Will I buy from Lance again? Unless they can explain how what I received is indicative of anything close to $125 worth of manufacturing expertise, and product quality, then no.
I do not recommend these mirrors for the JL. The supplied longer bolt for the bracket is not near long enough can only get a couple threads started. The Jeep panel is plastic and the bracket is putting to much stress on the plastic jeep panel. I'm sure over time the plastic will crack from the stress from the mirror bracket and stress from the wind on the mirror head. $125.00 piece of junk.
Very disappointed in this purchase. I like how the mount attaches to the vehicle but the holes for the mirror inserts were way too big. After reading the other reviews I was expecting the fit to be tight. That couldn't be farther from the truth in this instance. You shouldn't have to use pliers on "thumb screws" just to keep the mirrors from flying off.
