Reviews for Quadratec Maximum Duty Nitro 8.0 Shock Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
So far I've only put the rears on. They were installed with no problem and fitted great. I didn't have to take the tires off. The front will be a different story since the top bolt looks difficult to reach and to remove. So far so good!
Surprised for the price. Been running on them for two days. Over all, not bad. Feels like stock Rubicon shocks..feels good on the highway. Nothing really to complain about. I would recommend these for the budget minded. 2010 wrangler
Price was good for a stock ride.
Need to find out how good they ride
Firm ride but significantly improved ride quality to replace worn out shocks. Only complaint is you need to press in all bushings.
Just installed today, pretty stiff so far but that’s just a loop around the neighborhood and my previous ones were totally smoked. Feels like a Jeep again. But I wanted to let people know the 8.0 shock rear upper mount is the correct width and even though I used the conversion kit, I could’ve used the ones that came with the shocks.
Shock work good. But when I installed the rear shocks the mounting bar that comes with the shocks for the top mount, was too short so I had to remove the mount bars from the stock shocks and install them in the new shocks.
Easy to install.
Good product for the price
Seem like great shocks. Too bad they are a full 1" shorter that the original factory shocks I am replacing.
