I waited waaaay too long to replace my stock shocks and got used to not having any! These are really a night and day difference. Cant beat them, the quality is far beyond what you would expect for the price.

I purchased them on sale and these shocks are a great value, cheaper then 4 basic shocks at the local parts store. The ride feel is just like stock when the wrangler was new. I had an issue with one shock being defective out if the box , the gas charge must have leaked out but Quadratec had sent me a replacement the next day. thanks

These shocks feel just like the OEM shocks when my Rubicon was new, back in 2009. It took longer to remove the old front shocks than it did to replace all 4 new one, due to rust on the top of the front upper shocks. You will need 18mm for bottoms, 16mm for top rear, 16mm to remove stock top and 14mm for new shocks. Suggest open/close end ratchet combo wrench for the tight spots on top. Missing one shock decal, not in box, but they shipped one extra bag of front top hardware, oh well. Fast shipping, package arrived two days early, only two days shipping time, and it was Free! The nitros are the real deal. Took all of 2 hours to change them out on a 17 JK including breaks. The rears can be done on the ground. I jacked the front up and took the wheels off to do the front shocks. Rears will need a 16MM for the top and 18mm socket and open end for the bottoms. Front will need a pair of 16mm combinations for the top plus the 18mm set again for the bottoms. Replacement top bolt uses a 9/16" and set of vice grips to hold the shaft from rotating. Couldn't be any easier. They ride AMAZING on road and off. You'll get a little more road feel from the nitros as they are stiffer, but it definitely brings more character to the ride.

Jeep said the stock was nitro could not tell be the difference in the ride these are the real deal LOVE THEM!

Was concerned highway road travel would become rougher...I was wrong. Noticeable difference returning to center after bump, but it is actually a nicer ride than stock. Would buy them again. Good job, Quadratec!
