Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Love the look when they first came in, the install was easy and the price was right. However, I ordered the red ones and I have not even had them a full month and they are already starting to look pink (and I actually put my top up every time it is parked for any length of time to protect the interior from the sun).
Go on easy and look great when installed. However, mine have been on my Jeep for 5 months and they are already fading. I purchased the yellow and black version.
Bite the bullet, buy some expensive covers or replace your seats. I love Quadratec and all the good stuff they have but these covers won't last you a year. I rarely have the top on my Jeep and these faded within months. I could live with that (maybe) but they are also worn and starting to peel. It would be great if they could do their own brand of Bartact covers and sell them for less than the $309 they want. But, I just ordered them and we'll see how they hold up. I've heard good things.
I wouldn't recommend these seat covers. They were nice for the first few months, comfortable, cool, and kept the orginal seats clean. And the than the color started to fade badly and now they look aweful.
I ordered these for my 06 TJ, I had to cut holes where the lever is to move the seat forward and I have not had them 6 months and they have extremely faded. They do for very snug and they do feel comfortable, but for paying as much as I did I expected a little less fading I guess.
I love the look of the seat covers but they are VERY hot. I have only had the seat covers a few months and have noticed the back seat cover(which is uncovered) is already fading! The red is turning to pink. So I am not real pleased with the product!
Easy to install. Drivers sideways cover is starting to come apart at seam after only a couple of months
Seat covers fit great. Easy to install, but red faded to pink within the first week, even though I sprayed them with UV protection. The black seems to be holding up well. I don't recommend the red.
Took a month and a half to receive the seat covers. They don't fit exceptionally well but I do like the way they look and feel.
Installed October 2021. In October 2024 the driver's side seat has worn through. Not worth the $170 price tag for only three years worth of use.
In my picture, the wear mark is visible, as is the "stain" from rain; that will easily wash out. The neoprene cleans up nicely with Folex fabric cleaner. But again, at this price-point, it's much more cost effective to buy new cloth seat covers every year.
