Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Great fit. Easy install. The red faded extremely fast unfortunately
fit good but fade extremely fast, at least it did on the red ones.
tl;dr : these aren’t waterproof
I’ve had these installed for about 5 months now and after breaking them in, they fit the stock seats well. When first installed the covers did not recess into the driver/passenger seat back and instead stretched across. Now there is no longer a noticeable “balloon” out.
The reason for 3.5 stars is the fact that these are not water proof. They are water resistant. I left my Jeep with the top down in the rain for about an hour and a half. Once the rain had stopped, the the seat bottoms were wet where water had seeped through the neoprene. I had to remove and dry the covers and seats.
Overall aesthetically these are wonderful and the fit is about as good as can be expected but labeling as waterproof is misleading
Nice fit! I went with tan to match my interior, more like beige. Kept em' anyway, still an improvement over tan cloth seats. Next time I'm going black on black. Would buy them again!
Last just about as long as Wet Okaley but cost much less. Only lasted about a year and a half then it just disintegrates. I don’t use any sides from April through October so the sun beats my seats really good. I’ll keep paying $150 every year and a half though. I think it’s worth it.
Bought these for my 02 TJ and was very pleased with them, bought a new TJ and took them off to wash them and a huge section of the rear seat cover fell apart in the washer.
Good fit and cheaper option. After 2 weeks, the rear in full sunlight has already faded
I've owned mine for a year and a half now and they're just ok. The first month a buckle broke somehow on the lower seat portion of my passenger side cover. They're holding up well enough but the stitching is starting to come apart at the seams. Just loose strings at this point but we'll see how long they last. Decent if you need affordable covers now, but if you can afford to wait buy higher quality ones.
I really like these sweet covers. Took approximately 5 minutes to install each seat. They definitely improved the look and feel of my Jeep. Actually they feel nice and soft and are easy to clean (basically just brush off). However, even after tightening up the straps, they're a bit loose around the left/right corners of the seat (where the seat belt clips in and where the tilt adjustment handle is) and some of the original seat shows in those two spots. Regardless, if your Jeep is old like mine, and the original seats were getting dirty to the point that they couldn't be cleaned up, this is a nice, 'cheap' alternative.
I bough these back in March as the old covers were worn out. I put these in a 2000 TJ which spends nearly all Summer with the top and doors off. They originally did do wonders for the appearance of the jeep. Based on initial install I would have given them 5 stars as they did look sharp. The Summer Sun has pretty much faded all color from the top of the seats and they really should be replaced again next year. If you keep them out of the sun they look great. Just be aware that they do fade extremely quickly if you do not.
