Reviews for Quadratec Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect For CB Antennas & Trail Flags
I like the speed and simplicity of the disconnect, and the finish/quality are fine. My one complaint is the spring mechanism allows for quite a bit of slop in the antenna which can be quite annoying and slowly wearing on the antenna's threads. Otherwise it's not a bad little product.
Works well with trail flag and antenna. Wish I could test on the trail but my two month Smittybilt X2O order fails to ship by Quadratec. Quadratec continues to send weekly emails with ship dates that come and go. Net result, I still don't have the winch I ordered.
I'm not thrilled with this quick disconnect. It does function as advertised, but the top and bottom sections fit together too loosely, so it rattles around like mad when driving.
All though a good idea not worth it for off roading. At least I think this is why the two I purchased are falling. One for the CB antenna and one for a flag, thinking the trail riding vibrations are the cause. But after 100 miles of of roading they are almost impossible to get off or on.
This does fit fine on my 2018 JL, however, with the quick disconnect, it rattles and it is screwed in tightly.
Interesting, has I may be the only one not satisfied with this product. Difficult to attach antenna to it, but got it on ok. First car wash not easy to take off, then put it back on after car wash. Pulled up on it and it seemed to be on solid, but when I got home, no antenna. Cost me close to $60 for nothing.
didn't even come close to working on my 2018 JL.
