Reviews for Quadratec Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect For CB Antennas & Trail Flags
This is a must have if you plan to remove your antenna or trail flag. I only use my cb and flag while on the trail, so I prefer to have them off when not in use. Plus it will keep my antenna in good shape from hitting overhead things like in the drive-thru, parking garages, and my own garage. I have not noticed any rattle, and it seems very secure while in place. The unit is spring loaded, kind of like a quick coupler, and is easy to install, and easy to use. Very happy, and highly recommend.
Great little device for pulling things off quickly to get in the garage or pass by trail obstacles. The only stainless steel part appears to be the pin and spring inside. The rest is chrome plated, but doesn't show any signs of corroding yet.
There is a little bit of play in it, so it allows things to wobble slightly. Nothing visible, just a little noise.
So glad I purchased the quick release. For any downtown parking and or the car wash it's so easy to take the antenna easily on and off.
It came with no instruction, but even I could figure it out. Easy on, easy off. Secure.
Works great!
Easy to install. Tight spring fit assures contact. Corrosion resistant. Works as advertised.
makes it nice on the trail when you think your antenna mite brake off do to low hanging trees

Hope this works well. Would like to be able to pop off antenna quickly.
Very handy. Great for a trail flag because the flag gets shredded if you don't dismount it to drive on the highway. I also used one for a CB antenna, because the antenna won't clear the top of the garage door opening. I lost that antenna because I hadn't pushed this down far enough in trying to attach the top part (to which the antenna mounts) to the bottom part. The top slides down over the bottom post. The post has a groove down, to the side, and then up. A peg in the top part slides in the groove. Be sure you push it down far enough (against a spring in the bottom part) before rotating the top (in the direction you would use to drive in a screw) and that it pops back up to latch it. This gets difficult to do after a while. It may need lubrication periodically.
