Reviews for Smittybilt 76724 SRC Gen2 Front Bumper for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
awesome bumpers!!!!!!!!!!!
Very tough and bolted up easily with a helper.
Winch fit well too
Well built
Cool design that protects and can finally install a winch
Great bumper. Got it because Deere hit the front of my Jeep and now the Deere hit me on the side of my Jeep.
Smitty built front bumper is an excellent heavy duty bumper it has been on my jeep for a couple of years with no signs of rust And with the mounting points on the front I have a place for my shackles winch and checkpoint for my highlift Jack I highly recommend this bumper
This is a really nice bumper. It looks intimidating to install but it’s actually fairly simple. It comes with a ton of screws, probably extras for light pods or a light bar, but to get the bumper mounted just takes 4 nuts with washers and 2 screws that go into guided holes at the bottom where you drill into the crash bar then put the screws in. They are then tightened with an Allen key.
MOUNT YOUR WINCH AND FOG LIGHTS TO THE BUMPER BEFORE PUTTING THE BUMPER ON THE JEEP.
Since this is a heavy bumper, you might end up with a little front-end sag. I have a 2.5 inch suspension lift, and surprisingly my Jeep doesn’t noticeably sit any lower than it did with my previous bumper (stock bumper with towing hardware and my winch with a winch plate).
I’m very happy with this bumper and I definitely recommend it.
I'm really pleased with this bumper. It is massive and heavy before you put a winch in it. Installation was pretty easy as long as you have help. Do not try to install it on your own if you value your back. Also, if you plan to get a winch, install it in the bumper before you mount the bumper to your Jeep, you will thank me for that nugget later. The back 2 bolt holes for the winch mount are very hard to get to if the factory cross member is still in place from the original bumper. Also the Rubicon sway bar disconnect is in the way for the passenger side rear mount location if you have big hands like I do.
Installed on 2014 JK, everything lined up well, no drilling required. Bumper is a tank, heavy duty.
Install was pretty straight forward, everything lined up nicely. Sturdy bumper, looks great on my Jeep.
