Reviews for Quadratec Maximum Duty 2.5" Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Seems to be a good fit for me. I bought additional adjustable control arms and track bars. My jeep handles great. It was a bit squirly before the adjustable control arms
good kit easy install.
been on 4-5 years been great but about to go 4 in long arm
Great lift kit. Went on easy (I used a full lift so that obviously helped). I read some reviews and decided on the Hydro shocks because I wanted to soften the ride for city driving. It's a noticeable improvement over stock. That could be because of the age of the old shocks/springs (2004) but either way it is definitely better. I wanted a smaller lift kit so there wasn't a big gap between the fenders and tires. This lift with 33" tires turned out exactly the way I wanted. The customer service and shipping time from Extreme Terrain were both outstanding!
Awesome lift with easy to follow instructions. The only thing missing is new bump stops but other than that it was spot on! Rides better than factory with no wobble.
Really solid stuff, what I would expect from Quadratec. I’m no pro, so the install took me quite a while on my 97. I knew that it was nasty down there so I started with some liquid wrench and a breaker bar. At one point you’re supposed to punch out some tabs, yeah ok! I ended up using a dremel to grind out the slots, maybe if you have a huge punch and some lite steroid use. Overall I’m really happy with the kit, I wish the shocks came pre assembled, I had to get very creative pressing the parts together. But seriously, great components, very strong.
Bought this kit for my 2014 JK in April 2017 and had it professionally installed also added Mickey Thompson 35s...WOW! Great look, bold and beefy. Absolutely zero wobble at any speed. I cruise 80 and it is smooth. I did buy control arms separately. Highly recommend. I will get this kit for my wife's 2017.
Lift installed well but ws missing a bolt but that's nothing too difficult to deal with. Love the look and the function.
Quality parts in a complete kit. The installation took longer than the predicted 6 hours thanks to some rusty shock bolts, but it sure looks a lot better!
No one calls my girl "squatty" anymore!
