Like everyone else, one of my rubber grips snapped off and I am now spending money to replace it. I don't know if the 5 year warranty covers this, but it should. I'll give this one more try, because I like the overall idea of the product, but the quality seems to be severely lacking.

My first one broke after only using a few times. This is a replacement and I now have a smaller phone so hope it holds up. If you have a large phone don't buy this.

origional only lasted 8 months.metal clip needs to extend to the end of the clamp. The rubber snaps off where the metal ends.12.99 replacement already showing signs of stress.

Works on-road, but off-road it doesn't hold the phone well, and the phone keeps falling out. Rugged Ridge base is okay though, and typical phone tripod mounts will work with it. Just not the Rugged Ridge phone holder.

Product worked well for two years then one of the rubber tabs split. I ordered a new one and the tab split in less than two weeks. Poor Design

This part was disappointing. It does fit well but the jaws don't lock together so one tap on the phone with too much force and it just pops out. Also, it shimmy's and shakes. I would have expected a product designed for a Jeep not to be so wimpy.

I had this product years ago and cannot believe they have not changed the design. The hard plastic is far too short to hold the phone and, like all the accurate reviews say, the soft plastic breaks so quickly. A lot of money for soon to be garbage or a frankensteined cell phone holder with parts from around the house at best.

A clear : Do not buy! If you have the original replaced this is not better, they don#t learn an redesign, they make the money with replacement parts

I have a iPhone plus with otter box it does not hold the phone. Arm depth not deep enough. Very disappointed

Poor design. Like most of the other reviewers, the metal part under the rubber grippers is not long enough. The rubber grippers ripped off at the end of the metal and now it will not hold my phone. My phone is a a Pixel 3 XL with a thin gel cover on it.
