Reviews for QuadraTop Premium Sailcloth Replacement Soft Top in Black Diamond for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Fairly easy to install using Quadratec video. So far, it looks real good, but I have not had a chance to take it down and put it up to test the resilience, but I do not anticipate any problems.
Good product good fit easy install took less than an hour
Great product, OEM fitment is spot on, quality fasteners and stitching, setup/replacement was simple, installs best on a warm sunny day; improves fabric pliability.
Cold outside placed into the garage and turn on our heater. Once the garage was warm enough it was a easy fit. Warm top prior placing it on, otherwise it will not fit. It will be too tough and tight.
Excellent top. My old top was falling apart. After a lot of research I decided to try this top on my 06 TJ. High quality, well made top. No issues installing, everything went on as expected. Perfect fit. Time will tell how the top holds up, but for the money and initial quality you cant go wrong with this top.
Our first time replacing the top.. We watched the replacement video on you tube. Had it on in less than an hour. We are very pleased. Our Jeep looks new again... Robert Turner
All in all a great top. I've had it for about 6 months now and still am very pleased. In several heavy rains, I still have yet to get a drop of water on the inside of the Jeep. Only reason for 4 stars is because it doesn't fit super tight, so it isn't as quiet as I was hoping for but it is still 100x better than my old one
Great top for the price. Looks good, easy to install. Only reason it isn't a 5 star is because the rear window seems to fit very loosely, as if it's made about an inch too tall, and it's going to make a lot of "flap" noise with the windows down. Other than that, an overall great top.
Great Top. Definitely use all the screw holes, I had 7, matched them at autozone, and got 6 more (13 total). Much quieter than the factory and much thicker. INSTALL ON A WARM DAY!!!! and let it sit in the sun for a bit. Back windows are a little loose at first so reset them after a few weeks in the sun.
After a year the top seems to be holding up as I would expect, and is pretty resistant to staining and such. My only complaint was the fit. It wasn't as snug as I would have liked it to be, especially where the top fits up at the door (I have full doors). Even after constantly pulling it back and readjusting, making sure the velcro is, etc, they still slide forward just enough to get rubbed slightly by the door when opening and closing (especially passenger side). Over time this is obviously going to cause a premature wear point, so I'm keeping an eye on it and doing my best to keep it out of the way of the door. Overall I'd say this is a good top, and seems to be holding up well.
