Looks good & super easy to open/close, but on install aligning bolts is not easy.

I love the versatility that I now have with my hard top! It really is easy to use- just flip up two small brackets and throw the roof back. My boyfriend installed it for me and it took him about an hour, but he is experienced in fixing/building things. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the way it lays; with that last section angled up, it drives the air down from behind my head. It's a small price to pay for an open roof, but I thought others might want to know. Great quality and very durable.

Absolutely love the freedom of being able to pop the roof open instead of messing with the panels and the storage bag.

Was thinking about this purchase for some time and finally dropped the cash. It's pricey but if you want that instant convertible for your hard top, this is it. It was a bit of a challenge installing. Better to do it with a second person to push down on the rear and sides so you can get the screws and original Jeep hardware to bite. Once on, it's tight as a drum and takes some muscle to open and close it but it's a nice addition. If you are used to the relatively quiet hardtop, especially if you insulated it, you will be hearing a lot more wind noise going down the road. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the deluge of water run off onto the dash edge and the floor board when you open the front doors. I noticed this after I conducted a leak test. Otherwise it was water tight. I think there may be some solution to rain run off when the vehicle is sitting in a hard rain but have not researched it. Happy purchase anyway.

Ok I just installed the product yesterday. It was as stated about an hour to install. The Video does make it look a bit easier than actually doing it. I struggled a bit to get the Turn knobs to catch and screw down but finally got them. Believe it or not the hardest part was putting back the mushroom knobs until I finally figured out you need to push down on the rear of the top while starting the knobs. I did it myself with no help. It looks great and I am hoping the fabric will stretch just a bit bit because it's hard for my wife to latch and unlatch it currently. I guess time will tell regarding leaks and wear and tare but it looks great so far and should be far easier for my wife than those freedom panels. The folks that complain about the price just remember you get what you pay for. I bought the twill version for the higher quality fabric. The product seems sturdy and well made and the fit seems really good. One thing I am not sure of is if this top will handle going through a car wash but it looks like it won't be a problem...

Really good substitute for the Freedom panels. Opens and closes in seconds.
First the install. Heard about screws being a tad short. Brought two more about 1/4 inch longer than supplied. Install was done by myself in 30 to 45 minutes.
Bought Black Diamond version. Have a BMW with twill and it is a pain to keep clean, the black diamond is much easier to maintain.
Sound does increase but it is a soft top. Trade off for being able to open roof at light or side of road is worth the increase in sound. Does whistle occasionally but you get used to it.
Have not have any trouble in rain with water intrusion in the cab at all.
I certainly would recommend this product.

This is a really nice top. You really can flip it open at a stop light. Im 5'4" and can reach enough to flip it back from the driver side while seated. Fairly easy install. I took off 2 stars because...it leaks. It leaks on the passenger side front corner, into the pillar trim. Then drips on the passengers leg. It does not take much rain to leak and does while parked or driving. Have tried everything to make sure its installed properly. Otber than not being able to put passenger side pillar switches in its a great top.

This item leaks from the drive’s side and the Velcro pads to hold the latches when open do not align and as such doesn’t work. I’ve contacted customer support about this over a week ago, but hasn’t heard from anyone yet.

Best Top? More like mediocre top….sure, keeps out the sun and rain…a full soft top is quieter……bars rattle, joints squeak. I see a lot of these in the forums for sale, I am beginning to understand why…..you need a VERY loud radio if you drive more than 50mph……glad I kept my Freedom panels.
