Exactly as advertised and high quality finishes. This thing is rock solid and you can feel the extra stability when you open and close the door. Perfect for 35" tires and the extra weight.

The ticket for running 35's. Install was going smoothly, almost completed. When I had my torque wrench set to the wrong value(my fault) double check your torque spec in the instructions. ft. lbs. and Nm's are listed side by side and set the wrench wrong,broke a bolt and had to disassemble to remove stud. Wasn't a happy camper!

If you have over size tires as I do. You need this. No more rattle from the tailgate due to the weight of the oversized tire and rim. Super easy to put on

Echoing what's been said here already. Easy install, rattle goes away, tailgate shuts better, and the Jeep drives better. I also added the TeraFlex 4997220 JK Third Brake Light Extension Mount Kit rather than cut the OEM light.

And don't let the reviews of the extension mount fool you, if installed properly, it doesn't rattle when you shut the tailgate (the tire should be snug against the tailgate and touching the extension when installed)

Carrier and Hinge are exactly what I expected, high quality and strong. Watch as many install videos as you can, makes it real easy!

This is a great kit for those of us who aren’t running a bumper/carrier combo. The materials are strong and have a nice clean finish. No rattling on the tailgate. I had to buy the spacer because I’m running 35s on stock wheels ,but everything’s snug and secure. I would recommend this carrier all day!
