Reviews for Teraflex 4838100 Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

I bought this carrier to mount a 315 / 70 R 17 on my 2014 Rubicon using stock wheels and bumper. The fit and finish are great and mounting was straightforward (there are a few YouTube videos worth watching first though). My only problem is the description says that this can be used with the stock tire mount for tires up to 35". However the 315 won't fit (it hits the bumper) even though it's basically just under a 35. I have ordered the Teraflex Relocation Bracket in hopes that raising the tire 1.5 inches will solve the problem. If not I'll have to add the Teraflex Adjustable Spare Tire Mount to complete the installation.
