I installed this on my 07 jk and I'm very pleased. The install took me about 2hrs including a bit of cleaning around the hinges I removed. I followed the instructions and had no issues with alignment. The tailgate now has 0 sagging with my 35" spare, and closes with 1 finger instead of having to be closed with a bit of force.

Best on the market.

I purchased the tire carrier first but I wish that I had just purchased the combo as they work really well together. Anyways this product might be slightly overpriced but it completely eliminated all tailgate shaking from my 35in tire. I’m also convinced my Jeep handles better because it doesn’t have the rocking of the wheel to mess with the momentum of the Jeep while driving. It looks good, feels good and overall great product from Teraflex.

Solid and worth the money. I have the factory recon 17 inch wheels with 315/70/17 tires or 35", i did not buy the adjustable tire carrier just used the stock one. Only problem is the tire doesn't touch the hinge on the pass side or the factory rubber on the driver side. Had to put bigger rubber on to keep the tire tight against the tailgate

Stock tire carrier hinges wouldn't carry the weight of my spare instead of taking a chance on risking it i decided to buy this. 33x12.5x 18 stock carrier is only rated for 75 lbs i was told
