These made my wife really happy. She is 5'3" and has had trouble getting in/out since the 35s went on. These spring loaded steps make all the difference for her. When my stepson and I went on a Jeep Jamboree we pulled the pins and left them at home. Reinstall took about 60 seconds each. When not installed the bracket does not hang down enough to cause any problems for me yet.

This step is very well made, it just is a bit too small for my size 14 shoe.

Bought one some time ago for the passenger side. I like it so much I am gonna get myself one for the driver side. My copy did have a tendency to squeak, but a little WD40 on the joints fixed that. It is solid holds the weight no problem and makes gettin in and out much easier especially with my lifted Jeep.

Side note: I took mine into a skate shop and had them install some grip tape to it. Takes what little slickness there was out of it completely.
