Reviews for Vertically Driven Products 31550 Stubby End Cap Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with Factory Plastic Front Bumper
Best bang for your buck! They look like a stock feature and are a great solution to gaining tire clearance without drastically compromising the factory look. Very happy with my purchase.
Super easy install and really changed the look of my Jeep. Highly recommend!
Installed this kit after someone crunched my stock bumper in a parking lot. Good quality part. Fits well. Subtle change but lools really good. The only part I changed was I used bolts and clips to install instead of pushpin.
Looks really good on the jeep.
easy and inexpensive way to finish off shortened bumper.
Very easy install. Had it done in 30 mins. Love the change!
Because I tow my 2015 Wrangler with a BLUE OX system, I could not replace my entire bumper so I chose these ends. I just installed them in the rain and only took 45 minutes. A suggestion is to use a 6 inch piece of 2x4 as your 3.5 inch measure. Works very easy and allows you to use a SHARPIE to make your cut-line. I am a little disappointed in the push fasteners to hold the new cover on. No spares were included. Clean your stock bumper before you attach the ends. Blends nicely.
Fun project....looks great!
Worked perfectly to repair damage to my stock plastic bumper 2012 Sahara bumper after somebody backed into it. Very happy with the product and with the speedy delivery.
The installation was fast and easy...plus, it does make your JK look great! I have 2 recommendations before you start your installation, though. First, clean your bumper with a plastic restorer (I used ArmorAll Outlast Trim & Plastic Restorer). Next, remove your factory air dam (if it wasn't already been removed by an off-road adventure!). The 3-1/2" cut in the instruction looked close to the bumper mounting bolts, so I decided to go with a 4" cut (if it didn't work, than I would just make an additional 1/2" cut). I wanted to be, as far away as possible, from the mounting bolts. As some others have mentioned, hold the new stubby end part as you make your drilled holes for the black push pins. I did one on front first, end one on top, before completing the remaining holes.
