Reviews for Vertically Driven Products 31550 Stubby End Cap Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with Factory Plastic Front Bumper
Worked great. Easy to install. Make sure you have a metal cutting reciprocating saw blade. May have to adjust the cut on the stubby end caps to fit tight. Overall good look. Very pleased
A sawzall, some masking tape and 25 minutes in the driveway; this was one of the easiest and least expensive mods I've ever done for such a great look. This plastic solution was also perfect for me as I'm in MA, where road salt tends to eat away at any metal aftermarket products really quickly. This looks completely factory, and paired with the bumper hoop I installed a while back, gives a really subtle but still noticeably 'beefy' look.
A small truck slid into the passenger side of my front bumper at 10 mph while I was stopped. Not only did the bumper have a large deep Dimple but it was slightly bent at the crumple zone. I took a large plumbers wrench, attached it to the side edge oh my bumper and straightened the bumper beam. I took a reciprocating saw and cut the ends off the bumper. I went through two metal cutting blades and two multi cutting blades
Total time for install for me was 1.5hrs. I used a 7 Amp crafstman reciprocating saw. .
I am happy with the results. Now I can take my time selecting my new bumpers. I will probably tackle it this summer.
Sturdy, perfectly engineered to fit correctly without issues. Even clears grill mesh.
I like the stubby bumper ends
Very easy to install, takes about 10 minutes. Just make sure you use a dedicated thick metal blade. I chewed up a general use blade.
Exactly what I needed until I get the budget and decide on a real bumper. Easy install with a good recip saw.
Worked great. Looks awesome. Cuts took less than 20 minutes.
It’s a great fix for over sized tires!!
Easy to install
This was one of my first mods on my Jeep. It was great with easy directions. Highly recommend for an inexpensive mod!
