I love it. Super easy install and it looks great! For a girl on a budget like me, it's a perfect way to get the stubby bumper look without breaking the bank.
The install was super easy, just take a sawzall with a metal cutting blade, and chop off the end of the stock bumper. Drill some holes, stick the provided rivets in and you're done! Took me maybe 30 minutes to do all that and it only took that long because it was cold and snowing.
I highly recommend this if you're on a budget and can't afford a armored steel bumper yet.

I rented a saw from The Home Depot and had the project done within an hour. Instructions were easy to follow. They’ve been installed for about 2 months now and I’ve had no problems with them. Love the look.

Recently installed these Stubby Bumper Caps and very happy. I used a Black & Decker reciprocating saw (<$50) and 2 Dewalt metal cutting blades (14 TPI worked well). I've never taken a saw to a vehicle before, but if you're a little handy you'll have no problem (take a look at the instructions to gauge your comfort level). I didn't drill one of the top plastic pin holes deep enough so the pin isn't flush, but I contacted VDP and they are sending me some extra pins at no charge. Great customer service!!! Highly recommended!

Such a simple mod but what a difference it makes! If you don’t want to spring for new bumpers, this is a great mod.

I scuffed my OEM bumper on my new Jeep - totally bummed. Saw a set of these caps on a Jeep at the farmers market and ordered them immediately. A trick not in the instructions is to paint the cut bumper so it won’t rust before you install. Also you will need to notch the air dam for a good fit. In addition to clearance, they give a subtle aggressive look to front end that distinguishes it from other Jeeps. You don’t need high end tools or skills to do this. Definitely five stars.
