I ordered two of these to keep my gun and flashlight, and was disappointed it only opens half way, so my 5 D-cell flashlight will not fit. Another annoyance; the hardware (7 - M5-0.8 X 8mm bolts) were not included. Making a trip to the hardware store to pick them up necessary. That turned a 30 minute job into an hour. I ordered both driver and passenger boxes and the passenger side is going back.

I also have the Quadratech Locking Hitch Pin and, whaddya know, the keys are exactly the same. Doesn't make me feel like these are very secure locks.

So, first, the product is good, well built, solid, like it, BUT I have NO CLUE why people say this is easy to instal... it should be easy once you can remove the seat mounting bolts, so make sure you can before buying this, Im a 6'3" 220 pounds man and it took me about 40 minutes just to lose one of the bolts!, the other one NEVER lose, dont know what to do, it's REALLY hard, so make sure you can remove them before buying this

I returned these after realizing that the harnesses for the heated seats and side airbags had to be relocated. The instructions indicate you should remove the bracket and zip tie the harness to the seat. Considering the importance of the airbag harness, I opted not to install the drawer. I think the factory put the wire harness bracket there for a reason and if a zip tie was accceptable, Jeep would not have designed the bracket. Otherwise, I think the drawers are a great product and if I didn't have the side airbags, I would have kept them.

i received the product in good condition but it DID NOT FIT my 2016 unlimited rubicon.
Disappointed and wasted my money

Totally failed when my Jeep was broken into. It was pried open so easily that the policeman even noted that there were hardly any marks. Lost an $80 pocket knife and a 9mm magazine as a result. It's fine as a hideaway location for valuable, but don't count on it for actual security.
