They work very well in stopping hood flutter.

As I was driving this afternoon, the one on the driver's side broke, sending the upper portion of the latch pinging onto the road. The remaining side shows a couple tears in the rubber. They were installed a little over three years ago, and have been exposed to the Georgia sun ever since.

If you're willing to treat these as consumable and inspect/replace them every couple years, they'll do the job.

They don't fit my tj, they are to short

Had to return. These were so tight that they snapped my plastic hood latches.

Just received these today and the instructions state that they cannot be installed in temperatures below 70 degrees. Where I live, that won't happen for 5-6 months(it's January right now). If these cannot be installed under 70 degrees then I would worry about how long they would last in cold climates. Will be returning these.
