These did exactly what I wanted them to. The hood is secure, and no longer acts like it is going to lift up when passing a truck.

These are a huge improvement over the stock connectors. Have yet to have the hood move at all while driving with these installed.

Works just like it says had them for over a year still very happy with them.

These are the best thing to get to eliminate hood flutter, without replacing the entire hinge. The instructions that come with it say to unbolt the entire latch from the jeep, DO NOT DO THIS! you can use 2 Vise Grips to break the original pins out to install the new part. Just use a rag or something so you don't damage the paint when twisting off the original pins. and no, you cant use a dremel to cut it off of the end, there's metal in the center of the OEM pins.

As sturdy as the previous set I had, which only needed replacement after being damaged in an accident. Much better than stock OR the ones that came with the Kentrol latches I ordered a couple of years ago!
